Mandatory OHS Course in English
As a member of the health and safety organisation in any Danish company, it is mandatory to complete an OHS course no later than three months after being elected or appointed. The purpose of an OHS course is to strengthen the preventive health and safety work and to improve the function of the health and safety organisation. At AMC, you are taught by our highly experienced consultants, who base their training on hands-on issues from your everyday life and provide you with tools you can put to use immediately.
When do I need to take the course?
When you first become a member of the health and safety organisation, it is mandatory for you to complete an OHS course no later than three months after being elected or appointed. It is also mandatory for you to take the OHS course if you have completed the “Paragraph 9” training course before April 1991. After completing the OHS course, you can be part of any health and safety organisation without having to take the course again.
The OHS course consists of 22 training hours during three days. The first two days are consecutive and will provide you with a thorough introduction to the health and safety organisation, the legislation, and your own role and responsibilities. On the third day (approx. 3-4 weeks later), you will learn about safety culture and psychosocial working environment. Between day 2 and 3, you will do an assignment relevant to your company.
The mandatory OHS course in English is only available as a company course held at the individual company’s facilities. Please contact us to learn more.
